Queen Christina Nations Cup 2012

QCNC 2012 was arranged by the Finnish 6mR Association together with ESF. The racing started on 31.8. with an archipelago race from HSS to ESF in Pentala. The race was sailed in light and slightly foggy conditions.

On Friday the 1st Sept 3 round the cans races were sailed in fresh wind with some nice waves building up with the south easterly winds. On Saturday the 2nd it was even more fresh winds blowing steady easterly some 8-10 ms and higher in gusts and 2 races were sailed in the final day. Despite the challenging and wet conditions, all the boats and crews completed the races only with minor damages and bruises. The event was concluded with a price giving ceremony declaring team GBR as the winner and with a closing dinner at the Paven restaurant in Pentala.

Finnish 6mR Association wants to thank all the competing Teams, Race Committee from ESF and all the volunteers and service providers who were taking part and making this occasion possible.
